About High-contrast Image-free learning

About ExamPrep

We build exam preparation courses for any country, delivered in clear English with universal standards. Minimalist, evidence-based, and free from visual noise—so your attention stays on what moves your score.

Principle

Focus over friction

Every screen is keyboard-friendly and readable. No distractions. No “mystery progress”.

Standard

Measurable learning

We translate exam blueprints into trackable skills and drill patterns you can feel improving.

Promise

Privacy by default

No invasive tracking. Clear consent for cookies. Data minimization baked into UX.

Our Mission

To help learners achieve their best scores with focused, accessible content and measurable progress. We optimize for clarity, not clicks.

  • Accessibility-first: high contrast, keyboard-friendly, and fully usable without images.
  • Global-ready: English content, region-neutral scheduling, and transparent workload estimates.
  • Ethical analytics: consent-driven, minimal collection, purpose-limited retention.

Accessibility note: we intentionally keep the About page image-free to reduce cognitive load and improve readability in low-bandwidth contexts.

Methodology

Our courses use spaced repetition, practice-first drills, and short, actionable theory. Lessons align with official exam blueprints and verified item types. We focus on transfer: what you can do under exam conditions.

  • 1) Diagnose

A short baseline identifies skill gaps with the least possible time investment.

  • 2) Train patterns

Timed drills build accuracy first, then speed. Error logs turn mistakes into a targeted plan.

  • 3) Consolidate

Spaced reviews stabilize recall and reduce “last-week cramming” risk.

Study Rhythm Simulator

Estimate completion time. Adjust hours per week and target workload. The simulator also adapts for consistency: fewer weekly hours increases the “overhead” from context switching.

Milestone plan

A simple 3-phase plan based on your estimate.

  • Phase 1

    Baseline + build routine.

  • Phase 2

    High-volume drills + error log.

  • Phase 3

    Mock exams + pacing.

Tip

If you can only study 1–2 hours/week, expect slower progress. The simulator adds “overhead hours” to reflect re-orientation cost.

Milestones

  • 2021 — Founded with the principle of distraction-free learning.
  • 2022 — Launched first GRE and IELTS tracks.
  • 2023 — Introduced global cohorts and adaptive drills.
  • 2024 — Expanded professional certifications and privacy features.

Today: we invest in readability, consistency, and transparent pacing—so learners can plan their time like adults, not guess like gamblers.

What we believe

Our team is remote by default and built around craft. We care about outcomes and respect your time.

  • Clarity is kindness

We write in plain language, define terms, and keep interfaces predictable.

  • Practice beats motivation

Routines win. We design for repeatable actions, not hype.

  • Privacy is a product feature

We prefer simple metrics and explicit consent over surveillance.

Our story

ExamPrep started as a small internal toolkit to help friends study across time zones. We noticed a repeating pattern: learners don’t fail because they lack potential—they fail because their study system is noisy, inconsistent, and hard to trust.

So we built a minimalist learning flow: short theory, immediate practice, then spaced review. No banners screaming for attention, no hidden “premium-only” essentials, and no dark patterns.

Today, we keep the same promise: a calm interface, honest pacing, and a methodology that translates into exam-day performance.

Team values

How the simulator works

Core estimate: weeks = ceil(adjusted_hours / hours_per_week).

Consistency overhead: when weekly hours are low, you spend more time re-orienting. We model this as an added percentage that grows as hours/week drops.

Intensity: set below 100 to represent a more relaxed pace or harder-than-average material; above 100 for efficient pace and strong background.

The finish window provides a small range to reflect real life variance. It’s not a promise—just a planning tool.

How we measure progress

We focus on metrics that predict exam performance:

  • Accuracy by item type: so you can see exactly what’s improving.
  • Time-to-correct: not just getting it right, but getting it right fast enough.
  • Retention checks: spaced review performance over weeks.

We intentionally avoid “engagement” metrics that encourage doom-scrolling. Study time matters only when it turns into mastery.

Privacy commitment

We design with data minimization:

  • We store only what’s needed to deliver the service and improve learning quality.
  • Cookie consent is explicit and can be changed later.
  • We keep interfaces functional even if you decline optional cookies.

If you want to understand what is stored and why, we’ll explain in plain language—no legal maze.
